Skier’s Marine was formed in 1995 when Rett Tyler, Founder & President, became the North-Central Alabama dealer for Malibu Boats. He had been successfully working with Malibu for the previous six years as a factory representative while keeping his day job as a Police Officer. The first year we sold six boats by parking a couple of models on a vacant lot off Highway 280. We opened our first storefront location in 1997 on Highway 119, just south of Birmingham. As the company started to grow we were able to purchase land and build our Westover store in 1999. In January 2011 we opened Skier’s Marine North in Athens followed by Skier’s Marine Lake Martin in February 2015. Our locations are conveniently located near the areas of Auburn, Birmingham, and Huntsville.

In April 2015 Skier’s Marine ended its relationship with Malibu Boats in order to become the exclusive MasterCraft dealer for the state of Alabama. Skier’s Marine offers the newest MasterCraft, Supra, Moomba, Crownline, Sylvan Pontoon,  Chaparral and Vortex Jet Boat models along with a great selection of used boats. We exist to sell great boats at a fair price to our customers while offering them unparalleled customer service.  First and foremost, our goal is to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Secondly, we will always offer our customers the best boats available in the market at a price we would be willing to pay ourselves.
